ABLE: Effect of Biomass Burning |
Effect of Biomass Burning is shown by variation of tropospheric carbon monoxide with height above Amazon rainforest and with longitude along Amazon River, as measured by ABLE-2A flights at the end of wet season (July) and beginning of dry season (August). Note enormous CO increase in August as a result of biomass burning. |
